Senior Software QA Analyst - Elwin

- Plan and carry out functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing - Manage development and testing environments effectively - Ensure the integrity and availability of data and applications within the information systems - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to complete testing - Design, implement, and update comprehensive test plans and scripts for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests and define scenarios for automation - Analyze defects for trends to enhance testing cycles - Identify opportunities for process automation - Execute and drive automated scripts throughout the QA process - Perform test cases using both manual and automated testing, interpreting outcomes and providing feedback - Engage in deployment and post-production validation - Liaise with teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Champion continuous improvement of testing processes and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members - Coordinate with external development and testing partners - Facilitate User Acceptance Testing alongside end users - Oversee management of Rural King application QA/Dev environments including code and data versions - Offer guidance and assistance to end-users for application software - Develop functional documentation such as training materials for users - Provide functional and technical support to internal clients - Assist with training users on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Take part in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility with operating guidelines - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal clients - Work collaboratively with internal teams to create test cases and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by management - May need to cross-train and take on additional duties as needed - Operate general office equipment effectively - Frequently use a keyboard for data entry - Remain seated or standing for extended periods of time - Clearly communicate verbally with colleagues (in-person and digitally)
