Senior Software QA Analyst - Effingham

- Design, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository for regression tests specific to assigned application stacks, including the definition of scenarios for automation - Evaluate defects to identify trends and areas for enhancing test cycles - Recognize opportunities for automation within processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts across all QA levels - Perform test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting results and reporting feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Participate in deployment activities and conduct post-production validation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Mentor and provide training to junior QA team members - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage the QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications including code versions and data - Offer guidance and support for end-user application software - Generate functional documents such as end-user training manuals - Provide functional and technical support to our internal customers - Assist in training end-users on software systems - Deliver technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Engage in all stages of the SDLC - Assess enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operating protocols - Prepare and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases, and identify, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May be required to cross-train and undertake additional duties - Utilize general office equipment - Regularly operate keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Verbally communicate effectively with team members in person and via electronic devices
