Senior Software QA Analyst - Edgewood

- Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including automation scenario definitions - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for improvement in test cycles - Explore opportunities for automation in the testing process - Execute automated scripts throughout all stages of the QA process - Conduct testing using both manual methods and automated suites, interpreting results, and reporting defects to the development team - Engage in deployment and conduct post-production validation - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify project requirements - Drive continuous enhancement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members by providing guidance and training - Liaise with external development and testing parties - Partner with end users during User Acceptance Testing - Manage QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data management - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Create functional documentation like user training instructions - Provide functional and technical support to internal stakeholders - Assist in training end users on software systems - Deliver technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases, document issues, and troubleshoot - Provide on-call support as required by management - May undertake cross-training and additional responsibilities - Utilize general office equipment as needed - Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated, standing, or walking position for extended periods - Effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and electronically
