Senior Software QA Analyst - Dieterich

- Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenario definitions - Analyze defects for patterns and areas for enhancement in test cycles - Identify opportunities for automation within processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout all QA stages - Execute test cases using both manual and automated methods, interpreting results and relaying feedback to the development team via clear defect documentation - Take part in deployment and post-implementation validation - Collaborate with both internal and external parties to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive ongoing improvement in testing practices, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and guidance - Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams - Work alongside end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versioning and data handling - Provide end-user support and guidance for application software - Draft functional documents, including user training instructions - Assist internal customers with functional and technical support - Train end users on software systems - Offer technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to operational guidelines - Create and present status updates to internal stakeholders - Collaborate internally to generate test cases, identify, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by management - May be required to cross-train and undertake various tasks - Utilize general office equipment - Regularly use a keyboard for data entry - Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods - Communicate effectively with colleagues in person and through electronic means
