Senior Software QA Analyst - Casey

- Develop, execute, and sustain detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including defining automation scenarios - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for improvement - Recognize opportunities for process automation - Lead the execution of automated testing scripts throughout the QA process - Conduct test case executions, using both manual methods and automated tools, and provide feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Involve in deployment and post-production validation activities - Collaborate with internal and external teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Work with end-users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data - Offer user guidance and support for application software - Create user-facing documentation like training guides - Provide functional and technical assistance to internal clients - Assist in training end users on software systems - Deliver technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and compliance with operational guidelines - Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with teams to develop test cases and resolve issues - Be available for on-call support as directed by management - May require cross-training for additional responsibilities - Utilize general office equipment - Frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods - Communicate effectively in person and through electronic means
