Senior Software QA Analyst - Brownstown

- Design, implement, and uphold thorough test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including scenario definitions for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for enhancing test cycles - Spot opportunities for automation within the testing processes - Facilitate the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Conduct test cases, utilizing both manual testing and automated suites, interpreting results, and providing feedback to the development team via well-documented defect reports - Engage in deployment and post-production validation - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Spearhead the continuous enhancement of testing methodologies and technologies - Provide mentorship to junior QA team members, offering training and guidance - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Liaise with end users to execute User Acceptance Testing - Manage the QA/Dev environments of Rural King applications, including code version control and data management - Offer end user support and guidance for application software - Develop functional documentation, such as training materials for end users - Supply functional and technical assistance to internal customers - Assist with training end users on software systems - Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate actively in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases, identify, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by the manager - May be required to cross-train and perform additional duties - Utilize general office equipment - Regularly operate a keyboard to input information - Remain seated, standing, or walking for prolonged periods - Communicate effectively with others verbally, both in-person and through electronic means
