Senior Software QA Analyst - Brocton

- Develop, implement, and manage thorough test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles, including functional and end-to-end testing - Keep a thorough record of regression tests for assigned application domains and define scenarios for automation - Analyze defects to identify trends and enhance testing processes - Recognize opportunities for automation in testing - Drive the execution of automated testing processes across all QA stages - Conduct test cases, utilizing both manual and automated testing, interpreting outcomes and reporting feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Engage in deployment and post-production validation - Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance standards - Champion ongoing improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and technology - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing partnerships - Collaborate with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing - Manage QA/Dev environments for Rural King applications, including code version and data oversight - Offer guidance and assistance to end users regarding application software - Draft functional documentation, such as training guides for users - Provide both functional and technical support to internal clients - Assist with user training on application systems - Provide technical support during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operating standards - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to create test cases and document as well as resolve issues - Offer on-call support as needed - May be asked to cross-train and take on additional duties - Utilize general office equipment as required - Regularly operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Communicate effectively in person and through electronic means
