Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in applications support
- Minimum 5 years in applications support or relevant field
- 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, and MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Competence in engaging with online applicant and onboarding processes remotely
- Ability to complete computer-based training sessions
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Manage the Dev/Test environments within Rural Kings systems
- Ensure the integrity and availability of all data and applications
- Collaborate with various teams to guarantee comprehensive testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and cases for testing cycles
- Keep a repository of regression tests for applications, defining scenarios for automation
- Analyze defects to identify trends and enhancement opportunities
- Seek automation opportunities within testing processes
- Execute automated scripts at all phases of QA
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, interpreting results for the development team
- Participate in deployment and post-production validation
- Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with internal and external teams
- Drive improvements in testing methodologies and technologies
- Mentor junior QA members by providing training and support
- Coordinate with external development and testing teams
- Assist end users during User Acceptance Testing
- Oversee the management of the QA/Dev environments including version and data control
- Provide end user support for application software
- Create functional documents, such as user training materials
- Offer functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders
- Conduct user training on software systems
- Provide technical support during application development and testing phases
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review enhancements for compatibility and adherence to guidelines
- Prepare and share status reports with internal teams
- Collaborate to create test cases and resolve issues as needed
- Provide on-call support as requested by management
- May be required to cross-train and perform additional tasks
- Operate standard office equipment and frequently use a keyboard for data entry
- Maintain the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Communicate effectively both in person and through electronic channels
