Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years in applications support or related field
- At least 3 years experience with ERP, WMS, MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
- Capability to participate in online applicant and onboarding processes remotely
- Competence in completing computer-based training
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for long durations
- Physical capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Proficiency in navigating and accessing various facilities
- Close vision skills for computer-related tasks
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles
- Manage a repository of regression tests for specific application stacks, including the definition of automation scenarios
- Analyze defects to identify trends and areas for test cycle enhancement
- Discover potential automation opportunities within the testing process
- Facilitate the execution of automated testing scripts throughout all QA stages
- Conduct both manual and automated testing, interpreting results, and providing detailed feedback to the development team
- Engage in deployment activities and ensure post-production validation
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Drive continuous enhancement of testing methodologies, processes, and technologies
- Mentor and train junior QA team members
- Coordinate efforts with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end-users for User Acceptance Testing execution
- Oversee management of Rural King application QA and Development environments, including code versioning and data
- Offer guidance and support for end users regarding application software
- Create functional documentation such as user training instructions
- Provide functional and technical assistance to internal teams
- Assist with software systems training for end users
- Deliver technical support during application design, development, and testing phases
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure compliance with operational guidelines
- Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders
- Team up with internal units to create test cases, document issues, and resolve them
- Offer on-call support as directed by the manager
- May require cross-training for additional responsibilities
- Utilize general office equipment and frequently operate equipment like keyboards for data entry
- Sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods as required
- Effectively communicate verbally, both in person and via electronic methods
