Senior Software QA Analyst - Bethany

- Design, implement, and sustain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, system integration, end-to-end, and other testing cycles - Maintain a repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, including defining scenarios for automation - Analyze defects for trends and identify opportunities to enhance test cycles - Recognize areas where automation can be integrated into the process - Drive the execution of automated scripts across all levels of the QA process - Carry out test cases involving both manual testing and automated suites, interpret results, and provide feedback to development teams through clearly documented defects - Engage in deployment and post-production validation activities - Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments including code versioning and data - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Develop functional documentation such as training instructions for end users - Provide both functional and technical support to internal customers - Assist with training end users on software systems - Offer technical assistance during application design, development, and testing phases - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Analyze and review enhancements for compatibility and ensure adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal customers - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases, identify, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as directed by the manager - Be open to cross-training and performing additional duties as assigned - Utilize standard office equipment effectively - Frequently operate a keyboard for data entry - Maintain sitting, standing, or walking positions for extended durations - Communicate effectively with others in-person and through electronic devices
