Senior Software QA Analyst - Atwood

- Develop, implement, and maintain thorough test plans, scripts, and test cases for various testing phases - Keep a detailed repository of regression tests for assigned applications, including scenarios for automation - Examine defects for patterns and opportunities for enhancing testing cycles - Identify automation opportunities within testing processes - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process - Conduct test cases using both manual and automated methods, analyze results, and communicate findings to the development team - Engage in deployment activities and post-production evaluations - Collaborate with both internal and external teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria - Lead efforts for continuous enhancement of testing methodologies and technologies - Mentor junior QA team members, offering support and training - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution - Manage the quality assurance and development environments for Rural King applications, including code and data versioning - Provide guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Draft functional documents, such as training materials for end users - Offer functional and technical assistance to internal stakeholders - Assist with training end users on software systems - Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Evaluate and review enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines - Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders - Collaborate with internal teams to develop test cases, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by the manager - Potentially engage in cross-training and additional duties - Operate general office equipment and utilize a keyboard for data entry - Maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods - Engage in effective verbal communication with others (in-person and digitally)
