- Develop, implement, and oversee detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing phases, including functional and end-to-end testing - Maintain a repository of regression tests for designated applications, encompassing the definition of scenarios for automation - Investigate defects to identify trends and areas of enhancement within testing cycles - Spot opportunities for automation within the testing process - Oversee the execution of automated scripts across all QA stages - Conduct test cases using both manual methodologies and automated tools, interpreting results, and presenting feedback to the development team through well-documented defects - Engage in deployment and validation activities post-production - Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria - Champion continuous refinement of testing processes, techniques, and technologies - Guide junior QA team members, offering training and support - Coordinate with external development and testing teams - Partner with end users for User Acceptance Testing activities - Manage the Rural King QA/Dev application environments, including code versioning and data integrity - Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software - Draft functional documents such as training materials for end users - Provide technical and functional support to internal stakeholders - Facilitate user training sessions on software systems - Render technical assistance during the design, development, and testing phases of applications - Actively participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Assess and review enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines - Compile and deliver status reports to internal teams - Work with internal teams to design test cases, document, and resolve issues - Provide on-call support as assigned by management - Be prepared to assist with additional duties as necessary - Utilize general office equipment as needed - Frequent data entry using a keyboard - Maintain seated, standing, or walking postures for extended periods - Communicate effectively with others, both in person and through electronic means
