Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years in application support or a combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience with ERP, WMS, MDM systems
- Experience with Oracle XStore is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Capability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
- Competence in completing computer-based training
- Physical capacity to maintain a seated or standing position for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds periodically
- Skilled in navigating and accessing all facilities
- Close vision capability for tasks involving computers
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Manage Dev/Test environments within the Rural King framework
- Ensure data and application integrity and availability
- Collaborate with internal and external QA teams to guarantee thorough testing
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases
- Maintain a repository of regression tests and define automation scenarios
- Analyze defects for trends to refine testing cycles
- Identify automation opportunities in testing processes
- Execute automated scripts throughout the QA process
- Utilize both manual and automated testing methods, interpreting results and communicating feedback to the development team
- Participate in deployments and post-production validations
- Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with internal and external teams
- Drive continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members
- Coordinate with external testing and development teams
- Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing execution
- Manage Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data
- Support end users with application software guidance
- Create functional documents such as user training instructions
- Offer functional and technical support to internal stakeholders
- Assist with software systems training for end users
- Provide technical assistance during application design and testing phases
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Analyze enhancements for compatibility and guideline adherence
- Prepare and present status reports to internal stakeholders
- Work with teams to create test cases and resolve identified issues
- Provide on-call support as required by management
- Cross-train and perform various duties as needed
- Utilize general office equipment and effectively operate a keyboard for data entry
- Engage in extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking
- Maintain effective verbal communication in person and through electronic means
