Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of applications support experience or a comparable mix of education and experience
- At least 3 years experience with ERP, WMS, and MDM systems
- Familiarity with Oracle XStore is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques
- Keen attention to detail
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Ability to engage in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
- Competence in completing computer-based training
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Manage the Dev/Test environments within our organization
- Ensure the integrity and availability of data and applications within our information systems
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure complete testing
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and cases for various testing cycles
- Keep a repository of regression tests and define automation scenarios
- Analyze defects to identify trends and potential areas for test cycle improvement
- Discover automation opportunities within processes
- Supervise the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA process
- Perform test cases using both manual and automated approaches, interpreting results, and providing feedback
- Engage in deployment and post-production validation
- Lead initiatives for process improvement in testing methodologies and technologies
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members
- Coordinate with external development and testing teams
- Collaborate with end users for User Acceptance Testing
- Oversee management of the Rural King application QA/Dev environments, including code versions and data
- Offer guidance and support to end users regarding application software
- Draft functional documents, including training instructions for end users
- Assist internal customers with functional and technical support
- Facilitate training for end users on software systems
- Provide technical support during the design, development, and testing of applications
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Review enhancements for compatibility and ensure they meet operating standards
- Prepare and deliver status reports to internal stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to develop test cases and resolve issues
- Provide on-call support as directed by management
- May be required to cross-train and undertake other responsibilities
- Use standard office equipment and frequently operate a keyboard for data entry
- Capable of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods
- Communicate effectively with others in person and through electronic means
