Senior Software QA Analyst

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing. - Maintain an organized collection of regression tests for designated application stacks, including automation scenario definitions. - Evaluate defects to identify trends and areas for process enhancement. - Recognize opportunities for automation within testing processes. - Oversee the execution of automated scripts throughout the QA procedure. - Carry out test cases using both manual methods and automated suites, analyze results, and provide feedback to the development team through clearly articulated defect reports. - Engage in deployment procedures and validate post-production functionality. - Collaborate with various teams to clarify requirements and establish acceptance criteria. - Lead initiatives to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. - Mentor less experienced QA team members, offering training and support. - Coordinate with external development and testing teams as necessary. - Partner with end users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing. - Manage the QA and Development environments for Rural King applications, including code versioning and data oversight. - Provide end-user assistance and support for application software. - Draft functional documents, including training materials for users. - Offer technical and functional support to internal clients. - Assist in training users on software systems. - Provide technical guidance during application design, development, and testing phases. - Participate across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Assess enhancements for compatibility, ensuring adherence to operating protocols. - Prepare and deliver status updates to internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with internal teams to formulate test cases and troubleshoot issues. - Provide on-call support as directed by management. - May need to cross-train and undertake other responsibilities as required. - Utilize general office machinery as necessary. - Frequently input data using a keyboard. - Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. - Effectively communicate verbally with others in person and via electronic devices.
