Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural King’s enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth operations across various business functions.
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to understand their requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Facilitate discussions on improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring that system capabilities align with business needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for varied audiences.
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to validate successful implementation of new features or updates.
- Analyze and resolve application issues within Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with external support and internal development teams.
- Develop and enhance reporting needs by interpreting data for senior management to ensure actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies, recommending new functionalities and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control processes while collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Deliver training and support to end-users to encourage adoption and self-sufficiency across business units.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
