IT business systems analyst - Villa Grove

- Support and optimize Rural Kings enterprise applications, particularly focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms - Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, translating operational requirements into system solutions - Partner with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to gather business needs and create scalable system solutions within Oracle modules - Facilitate discussions on improving business processes, data flow, and functional design to ensure synergy between organizational needs and Oracle capabilities - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live assistance - Organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to confirm business processes and ensure successful feature implementation - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams - Support reporting needs by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to ensure actionable business insights - Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to recommend new features and process enhancements - Collaborate with partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures - Provide training and support to end-users to enhance system adoption and promote self-sufficiency across business groups - Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism
