Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar).
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Skilled in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and navigate across facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem with a focus on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure efficient business operations across various functions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to understand business needs and develop scalable system solutions using Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead initiatives for business process enhancements, optimizing data flow, and functional design to align business requirements with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical users.
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to confirm business processes and ensure successful implementation of new features or updates.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues linked to Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Assist in enhancing reporting requirements by gathering and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are precise and actionable.
- Remain updated on Oracle Retail developments, release notes, and new technologies to propose new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and independence across business divisions.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
