Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) preferred
- Solid understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end validation of processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion in all interactions
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds as needed
- Capable of accessing and navigating across different departments within facilities
- Strong verbal communication skills with effective close visual acuity
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms for streamlined business operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business needs and devise scalable solutions within Oracle systems
- Facilitate discussions on business process enhancements, data flow efficiency, and functional design to ensure alignment with operational goals
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training resources
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
- Oversee and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate processes and ensure successful feature implementation
- Analyze and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, cooperating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Support reporting needs by compiling and analyzing data for senior management, ensuring precision in business insights
- Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to suggest new functionalities and enhance processes
- Collaborate with diverse partners to ensure compliance with IT standards and change control practices
- Provide training and support to end-users to foster adoption and autonomy within business units
- Exercise independent judgment in daily tasks while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
