Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Facilitate discussions on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to ensure business needs align with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for various audiences.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure the successful implementation of new features or patches.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues within Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Support and enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to ensure that insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and process improvements.
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure adherence to IT standards, governance, and change control procedures.
- Provide training and end-user support to foster adoption and self-sufficiency across business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
