Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and validating end-to-end processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and navigate across various departments
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, particularly focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational needs into effective system solutions
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather requirements and implement scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Lead discussions on improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring alignment between operational needs and Oracle functionalities
- Create and maintain thorough documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure effective implementation of new features or patches
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, liaising with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal teams
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and new functionalities
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures
- Provide training and support to end-users, promoting adoption and self-sufficiency within business groups
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
