Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- Solid grasp of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and thorough process validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (such as AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, especially focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms for efficient business operations.
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to gather and translate business requirements into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions on improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and designing functionalities to ensure business needs align with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and uphold clear documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training content for diverse audiences.
- Actively participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which encompasses requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure the successful deployment of new features or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations in collaboration with AMS, Oracle Support, and in-house development teams.
- Support reporting needs by gathering and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and new functionalities.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to uphold IT standards, governance, and procedures for change control.
- Provide training and support to end-users to foster adoption and independence across business areas.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
