Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or related systems) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a high-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across various functions
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Lead discussions on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and securing alignment between business needs and Oracle capabilities
- Create and uphold documentation, including functional designs, process maps, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that business processes are validated and new features are successfully implemented
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail integrations by collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Compile and analyze data to support reporting needs for senior leadership, ensuring insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates, new release notes, and emerging technologies to advocate for new functionalities and process enhancements
- Work alongside internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and self-sufficiency across business units
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
