Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail processes such as merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capacity to manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kingβs enterprise applications ecosystem by focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational needs into system solutions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable Oracle solutions.
- Lead discussions on improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring alignment with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for varied audiences.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful execution of new features or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations in collaboration with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Analyze reporting requirements while compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to provide accurate and actionable business insights.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail developments and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Provide training and end-user support to promote self-sufficiency across business groups.
