Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications, including MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, and CFIN, is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business operations including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and comprehensive process validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools such as AIF/BDI is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Capability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and effectively communicate verbally with others.
Responsibilities
- Support the integrity of Rural Kings enterprise applications, particularly Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to ensure smooth business operations in buying, inventory, finance, and store management.
- Act as a primary link between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational requirements into system solutions and enhance business processes.
- Lead discussions aimed at improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring functional design aligns with business needs within the Oracle framework.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.
- Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure effective implementation of new features or updates.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Address reporting needs by compiling and interpreting data for senior management, ensuring that business insights are both accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and enhancements to processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Provide training and user support to promote adoption and independence among various business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
