Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- Strong grasp of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions aimed at improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring that functional designs align with business objectives and Oracle capabilities.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, including functional designs, process maps, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live assistance.
- Organize and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure business processes are validated and new features or patches are successfully implemented.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues related to Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams when necessary.
- Support enhanced reporting needs by analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are accurate and actionable.
- Keep up with updates and emerging technologies related to Oracle Retail, and recommend new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Provide training and support to end-users to encourage the adoption of systems and promote self-sufficiency within business units.
- Utilize discretion and independent judgment while upholding confidentiality and professionalism in daily decisions.
