Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise context
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality in all interactions
- Capability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, specifically focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure effective business operations across various functions
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to capture business requirements and transform them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Facilitate discussions aimed at enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring alignment with Oracle capabilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for various audiences
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through to deployment and post-go-live support
- Conduct and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business functions and ensure successful deployment of new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues across Oracle Retail systems in collaboration with various support teams
- Assist in enhancing reporting capabilities by analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are both accurate and actionable
- Stay informed about updates to Oracle Retail, release notes, and new technologies to recommend enhancements and improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with IT standards and change control procedures
- Provide training and support to end-users to encourage adoption and foster self-sufficiency across business divisions
