Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kingβs enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across various functions.
- Partner with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to comprehend business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring functional design aligns with business needs.
- Create and maintain documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and facilitate successful implementations.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are actionable.
- Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to suggest new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards and governance procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users to foster adoption and self-sufficiency across business units.
- Use independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
