Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions focused on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and aligning functional design with operational needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-deployment support.
- Oversee and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure the successful launch of new features or updates.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Support reporting needs by gathering and analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring that business insights are both accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend new functionalities and process optimizations.
- Work alongside internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Provide training and support to end users to promote adoption and self-sufficiency across different business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
