IT business analyst - functional - Tower Hill

- Act as a key liaison between the Finance department, IT, and external partners - Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document current processes, identify challenges, and suggest enhancements - Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle Fusion-related initiatives with Finance stakeholders and IT teams - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Engage in thorough end-to-end testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance tests - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance and compliance across financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design conversations with internal teams and vendors - Assist with configuration updates, testing, and deployment of new features or improvements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems - Team up with developers and solution architects to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis for system errors - Aid in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and schedules - Create and sustain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to promote compliance with standardized processes - Uphold IT governance, data standards, and security policies across Finance applications - Compile system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for executive review - Work closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in transactional data and timely processing - Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and business partners to support integrations, controls, and auditing requirements - Collaborate with other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless data flow across modules
