IT business analyst - functional - Tolono

- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and AP teams to document business processes, pinpoint challenges, and recommend system and process enhancements - Act as the main liaison between Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle AMS or implementation partners for Oracle Fusion projects - Analyze and convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Monitor and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design discussions with internal teams and vendors - Assist with configuration changes, testing, and deployments of new features, integrations, or enhancements within Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated systems - Work in collaboration with developers and solution architects to validate designs, resolve issues, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring system errors - Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes ensuring alignment of system processes with accounting principles and deadlines - Create and maintain system documentation, functional process flows, and user training materials - Provide end-user training and support to facilitate adoption and adherence to standardized business practices - Assist in enforcing IT governance, data standards, and security protocols across Finance applications - Prepare system health reports, issue summaries, and updates for leaderships review - Coordinate closely with AP, GL, and Finance teams to maintain data accuracy and ensure timely processing - Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and business associates to support integrations, controls, and audit requirements - Work alongside other IT application teams (Retail, HRIS, WMS) to ensure seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
