IT business analyst - functional - Saint Elmo

- Act as a vital conduit between the Finance organization, IT, and external partners - Analyze and document business processes, pinpoint issues, and propose enhancements - Function as the main liaison for Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and Oracle partners for Oracle Fusion initiatives - Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for Oracle Fusion modules such as GL, AP, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets - Participate in comprehensive testing, including system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing - Oversee and assess ongoing system performance, data integrity, and compliance within financial applications - Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional design conversations with internal and external teams - Support configuration adjustments, testing, and rollouts of new features or integrations in Oracle Fusion Cloud and related systems - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to validate designs and troubleshoot recurring system issues - Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing tasks to ensure system alignment with accounting standards - Create and maintain system documentation, process workflows, and user training manuals - Deliver end-user instruction and support for adherence to standardized processes - Aid in upholding IT governance, data standards, and security protocols in Finance applications - Prepare system health reports and issue summaries for leadership review - Coordinate effectively with AP, GL, and Finance teams for accurate and timely processing of transactional data - Work with vendors, auditors, and business partners to fulfill integrations, controls, and audit necessities - Collaborate with other IT application teams to guarantee seamless cross-module and cross-platform data flow
