Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or related systems) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure efficient business operations.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to turn operational needs into effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to align business needs with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain clear documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements to post-go-live support.
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes.
- Troubleshoot and analyze application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to ensure insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail releases and emerging technologies to suggest new features and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures while collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Provide training and end-user support to promote adoption and self-sufficiency within business groups.
- Use independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
