Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems)
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced setting
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all dealings
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure efficient business operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to understand business needs and develop scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising
- Facilitate discussions regarding business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to align business requirements with Oracle functionalities
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to verify business processes and ensure successful feature implementations
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to provide accurate and actionable insights
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and process enhancements
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols
- Provide training and end-user support to encourage adoption and self-sufficiency within business groups
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
