Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise setting.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications, such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and comprehensive process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to ensure effective business operations across various departments.
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to assess business requirements and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle modules.
- Lead discussions on improvements in business processes, data flow optimization, and functional design to align business needs with Oracle capabilities.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for both technical and non-technical users.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-live support.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful implementation of features or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, liaising with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams as necessary.
- Compile and interpret data for senior leadership to support reporting needs, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend new functionalities and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to adhere to IT standards, governance, and change control processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance adoption and self-sufficiency across various business groups.
- Make independent decisions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in daily operations.
