IT Business Systems Analyst - Wheeler

- Support Rural King’s enterprise applications, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across inventory, finance, purchasing, and store functions - Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to understand their business needs and convert them into scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) - Lead initiatives on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to ensure alignment between business requirements and Oracle capabilities - Develop and maintain thorough documentation including functional designs, process maps, user manuals, and training materials for both technical and non-technical users - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and support after go-live - Organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful implementation of new features or updates - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues linked to Oracle Retail integrations, working closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams - Enhance reporting capabilities by gathering and analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring that business insights are both accurate and actionable - Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to suggest new features and process enhancements - Work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control regulations - Provide training and user support to promote adoption and self-sufficiency among business units - Make independent decisions with discretion while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
