Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes such as merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (e.g., AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all professional interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms
- Act as a key link between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational needs into system solutions
- Partner with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to gather business requirements and create scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Lead discussions on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring alignment between operational needs and Oracle functionalities
- Create and maintain clear documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training material for diverse audiences
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements collection, solution design, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues with Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with internal and external support teams
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and interpreting data for senior management, ensuring actionable insights
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail developments and emerging technologies to suggest functionality and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to IT standards, governance, and change control procedures through collaboration
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote system adoption and self-sufficiency
