Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting business applications within a retail or enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and comprehensive process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proven capability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural King’s enterprise applications ecosystem, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure efficient business operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into scalable solutions in Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Facilitate discussions on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and functional design to align business needs with Oracle capabilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as functional designs, process maps, user guides, and training materials for various audiences
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-execution support
- Oversee and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to confirm business processes and ensure successful deployment of new features or updates
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal developers
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and analyzing data for senior leadership to ensure business insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail releases and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and process improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols
- Provide training and support to end-users to encourage adoption and self-sufficiency across business units
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decision-making while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
