Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is highly desirable.
- Strong grasp of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Proficient in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality.
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, navigate facilities, and communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across various functions.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather and translate business requirements into innovative system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Lead discussions to identify business process enhancements, optimize data flow, and align functional design with business necessities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution architecture, testing, launch, and post-implementation support.
- Organize and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful feature or patch deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capabilities by analyzing and interpreting data for senior leadership to provide accurate business insights.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend functional improvements and innovations.
- Work with internal and external partners to adhere to IT standards, governance, and change management procedures.
- Deliver training and end-user support to promote usage and independence among various business groups.
- Employ sound discretion and independent judgment in everyday decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
