IT Business Systems Analyst - Saint Elmo

- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and develop scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules - Lead discussions focused on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and aligning functional design with operational needs and Oracle capabilities - Create and uphold clear documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences - Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, deployment, and offering support post-launch - Conduct and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure new features or updates are successfully implemented - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and our internal development teams - Enhance reporting capabilities by collecting and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are both accurate and actionable - Remain informed on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and process improvements - Work with internal and external partners to maintain compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures - Provide training and user support to facilitate the adoption of systems and promote self-sufficiency across various business groups - Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
