Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of direct experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail business workflows—merchandising, inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application setup, testing, and comprehensive process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications system, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms for smooth business operations across various functions
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather requirements and convert them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules
- Facilitate discussions on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flows, and aligning functionality with business needs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process diagrams, user manuals, and training resources
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-implementation support
- Execute and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to confirm effective implementation of new features or updates
- Diagnose and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and analyzing data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay informed about Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to suggest new functionalities and process enhancements
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to comply with IT standards and change control protocols
- Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and independence within business teams
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in daily decisions
