Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (e.g., MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds as needed
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to translate operational needs into system solutions
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and develop scalable solutions within Oracle
- Lead discussions on improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and aligning Oracle capabilities with business needs
- Create and maintain documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering and deployment
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes
- Troubleshoot application issues across Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with Oracle Support and internal teams
- Enhance reporting by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership ensuring the accuracy of insights
- Stay abreast of Oracle Retail updates and recommend new functionalities and process enhancements
- Provide training and support to drive user adoption across business units
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining confidentiality
