IT Business Systems Analyst - Murdock

- Support Rural King’s enterprise applications ecosystem, particularly focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to ensure smooth business operations across buying, inventory, finance, and store functions. - Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to convert operational needs into effective system solutions and enhance business processes. - Lead discussions aimed at improving business processes, optimizing data flow, and designing functional frameworks to align with Oracle capabilities. - Create and maintain thorough documentation such as functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, deployment, and providing support post-implementation. - Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure the successful launch of new features or updates. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues within Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating closely with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams. - Support and enhance reporting needs by interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring business insights are accurate and actionable. - Stay informed about Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to recommend new features and process enhancements. - Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures. - Provide training and support to end-users to foster adoption and independence among business groups. - Use independent judgment and discretion in daily decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
