IT Business Systems Analyst - Mt Zion

- Support the enterprise applications ecosystem at Rural King, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms to facilitate smooth business operations across various departments - Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to convert operational needs into effective system solutions - Engage with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions within Oracle - Lead conversations aimed at enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and ensuring alignment between business requirements and Oracle functionalities - Create and sustain comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials that cater to both technical and non-technical audiences - Participate in and support all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support - Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and enable successful rollout of new features or patches - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations while collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams - Enhance reporting capabilities by compiling and analyzing data for senior leadership to deliver accurate and actionable business insights - Stay informed on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to recommend innovative features and process enhancements - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enforce IT standards, governance, and change control procedures - Provide training and support to end-users to promote adoption and self-sufficiency within business groups - Exercise discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day decision-making while upholding confidentiality and professionalism
