IT Business Systems Analyst - Montrose

- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, specifically Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to facilitate smooth business operations across various teams - Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and develop scalable system solutions within Oracle ERP - Lead discussions focused on business process enhancements, data flow optimization, and ensuring coherence between business objectives and Oracle capabilities - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for diverse audiences - Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and post-launch support - Facilitate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and confirm successful implementation of new features - Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues in Oracle Retail, collaborating with internal teams and Oracle Support - Compile and interpret data to enhance reporting needs, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership - Keep abreast of Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies to recommend process improvements and new features - Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures - Provide training and ongoing end-user support to promote self-sufficiency across business units - Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
