Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise context.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly desired.
- In-depth understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and comprehensive process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools like AIF/BDI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all professional interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise application ecosystem, primarily focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to facilitate smooth business operations in buying, inventory, finance, and store execution functions.
- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to convert operational requirements into systematic solutions, enhancing business processes, and promoting adoption of new features within Oracle Retail.
- Collaborate with teams in Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations to gather business needs and translate them into effective scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Initiate discussions to improve business processes, optimize data flow, and ensure that functional design aligns with business requirements and Oracles capabilities.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user manuals, and training resources for both technical and non-technical users.
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful feature or patch implementations.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve application-related issues within Oracle Retail integrations, collaborating with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams as needed.
- Support reporting requirements by collecting and interpreting data for upper management, ensuring that insights are accurate and actionable.
- Keep abreast of Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to propose new functionalities and enhancements.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control protocols.
- Provide training and end-user assistance to encourage adoption and foster self-sufficiency among various business groups.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily tasks while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
