Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise context
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN, or similar systems) strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 15 pounds, navigate across facilities, and communicate effectively both in-person and electronically
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications ecosystem, primarily focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms, to ensure seamless business operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
- Lead discussions to improve business processes, optimize data flow, and align business needs with Oracle capabilities
- Create and maintain clear documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials for varied audiences
- Participate in and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes and ensure successful implementation
- Troubleshoot application issues across Oracle Retail integrations and collaborate with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams
- Support reporting needs by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership to ensure insights are accurate and actionable
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements and emerging technologies to recommend new functionalities and process improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures
- Provide training and end-user support to enhance adoption and self-sufficiency among various business groups
- Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
