IT Business Systems Analyst - Mattoon

- Serve as a central point of contact between the IT department, business stakeholders, and external partners to align operational needs with system solutions - Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to capture and translate business requirements into scalable solutions using Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules - Facilitate discussions on process improvements, data optimization, and functional design to ensure business objectives align with Oracles capabilities - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as functional designs, process workflows, user manuals, and training materials for diverse audiences - Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, solution development, testing, and post-launch support - Organize and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business workflows and ensure successful implementation of new features or updates - Analyze and resolve application issues related to Oracle Retail integrations, working synergistically with AMS, Oracle Support, and in-house development teams - Support and refine reporting requirements by compiling and interpreting data for senior management, ensuring actionable insights - Remain informed on Oracle Retail updates, release notes, and emerging technologies to suggest innovations and enhancements to processes - Partner with internal and external entities to guarantee adherence to IT standards, governance, and change management protocols - Deliver training and support to end users to boost adoption and promote self-reliance among business groups - Utilize discretion and independent judgment in daily operations while preserving confidentiality and professionalism
