Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications (such as MFCS, SIOCS, ReSA, ReIM, CFIN) is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes including merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience with application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools (AIF/BDI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions within Oracle ERP and Merchandising modules.
- Facilitate discussions on enhancing business processes, optimizing data flow, and aligning operational needs with Oracles capabilities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process workflows, user manuals, and training materials tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to validate business functions and ensure successful integration of new features or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues associated with Oracle Retail integrations in collaboration with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal development teams.
- Enhance reporting capability by gathering and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring insights are actionable and accurate.
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail enhancements, release notes, and new technologies to propose functional improvements and innovative processes.
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change management protocols.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to foster adoption and promote self-sufficiency across various business units.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily tasks while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
