Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years supporting business applications in a retail or enterprise setting
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail or Oracle ERP Cloud applications preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail business processes such as merchandising, inventory management, and financial reconciliation
- Experience in application configuration, testing, and end-to-end process validation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data integration tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to access and navigate various departments across facilities
- Capability to communicate effectively both in person and electronically
- Close visual acuity to perform essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Support Rural Kings enterprise applications, focusing on Oracle ERP and Merchandising platforms for seamless operations
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, and Store Operations teams to translate business needs into scalable Oracle solutions
- Lead discussions on process improvements and data flow optimization to enhance alignment between business needs and Oracle capabilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training materials
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate business processes
- Analyze and resolve application issues across Oracle Retail integrations in collaboration with AMS, Oracle Support, and internal teams
- Support reporting needs by compiling and interpreting data for senior leadership, ensuring actionable insights
- Stay updated on Oracle Retail updates and emerging technologies, recommending new functionalities
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and change control procedures through collaboration with partners
- Provide training and end-user support to promote adoption and self-sufficiency within business groups
- Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining professionalism
